Table Runner: Artfully Handmade
Special handmade touches are a great way to spruce up a party. This one can pull all the colors of your party together in one warm glow.
Step 1: The Materials
Foam Core (20"x30" cut in half or to fit your table)
Craft Paints (Green, orange, yellow, and red)
Sponges
Step 2: Painting the Board
Dip your sponge into one color and onto the foam core board. The paint dries fast, but make sure to let it dry between colors.
Alternate through your colors until the board is completely filled in.
With a paint brush, paint the side of the foam core to cover the white.
Step 3: Add Fringe Yard
Using a fringe yarn, begin wrapping the board.
Wrap the board twice lengthwise and in intervals of about 4" down the other side.
Step 4: Secure the Yarn
Secure the yarn to the backside of the board using tape.
A Beautiful Presentation!
Take simple, clear votives. Fill some with roses cut at the base and sitting in a little water. Fill others with tealights.
Alternately arrange them running down the board.
